Mission:

The Church of the Nazarene believes that young people are an integral part of the Church.  The NYI is committed to leading young people into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and to facilitate their growth as disciples for Christian service.  We work to accomplish a threefold strategy of:

1) Evangelism, reaching young people for Christ;

2) Discipleship, equipping young people to be Christlike followers;

3) Leadership Development, empowering young people to serve others. 

We are passionate about what we do.  And work hard at accomplishing our goals.

The words of the Apostle Paul to the younger Timothy reminds us of the importance of our work: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” I Timothy 4:12 (NIV)
