We are new creations when we come to Christ, He is faithful to forgive and renew our minds and souls.  What this means is that you are no longer guilty, that you are free from condemnation, as sure as heaven is real.  Before we wanted to do bad and in Christ we want to do good.

Take our challenge today to live in Christ and be free from guilt.  In Christ and through all things are possible.

Pastor Mariel López, began her ministry at Calvary in November 2006 as assistant pastor, and soon after we called her as full time pastor in August 2007.  We are happy she is with us.  Pastor is fully bilingual and preaches in English as well as in Spanish.  

Pastor Mariel holds a bachelors degree in psychology from Southern Nazarene University, graduate class of 1990, and is a current master’s in religion student in an extension program from the Seminario Nazareno de las Américas in Costa Rica; pastor also attends Centro Nazareno de Estudios Teológicos of Puerto Rico in preparation for ordination. 

Our pastor is vibrant and dynamic, she loves to preach the Word of God and witness to those who do not know Jesus.
