TNT Class

Calvary has a special study group for adults in their 20's
and 30's that meets at our regular 9:30 AM Sunday school
hour.  The group is open to all levels of faith.  If you have
doubts about your relationship with God, or are trying to
re-discover a relationship with God, or want to grow your
relationship with God, this class offers an opportunity to
share in a thoughtful discussion about God and meet
some other people like yourself.

During our one hour study, we talk about God as we try to
answer the question "What is God like?"  There is no
question more important.  

In April, The TNT class started an interactive 26 week
study on the Book of John.  This book of the Bible was
written by the apostle John, "the disciple whom Jesus
loved".  This book gives us a close look at the life of Jesus
from a person that was there to witness it.  John provides
his own purpose for writing the book, "These are written
that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God, and that by believing you may have life in his name"
(20:31).  By learning about Jesus, we get to see what God
is like.

The TNT class does more than just study the Bible.  The
group also has regular social activities by itself and with
the church.  The group had a Christmas party and a
bowling tournament as well as participating in the recent
church ping pong tournament.  In addition, the group has
recently formed a choir.  If you can sing, we could use
your voice!  

God has blessed this class and it has grown steadily since
its inception in the fall of 2007.  There is power in the
Word of God.  We invite you to join us on Sunday morning
to discover or re-discover God for yourself.  We meet out
on the back porch of the church.  Dress is casual.  If you
are a little nervous about joining us, bring a friend.
